100% Assured Admissions

NEET UG 2025 COUNSELLING PROCEDURE: The NEET UG 2025 counselling will be organized for:

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), will conduct the counselling process tentatively in the second week of June for admissions into MBBS and BDS courses for the candidates who qualify NEET UG 2025. This process will cover 15% AIQ seats and all seats in Deemed/Central Universities, ESIC, and AFMC, including those in Delhi University (DU), BHU, and AMU.

For all other seats under the control of State Governments, Universities, and Institutions, separate notifications will be issued by the respective authorities. These authorities will prepare their own merit lists based on the categories declared by candidates during the admission application or counselling registration.

Counselling for 15% All India Quota and Central Institutions (AFMC, ESI, DU, BHU, AMU, Deemed Universities):

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS will manage this counselling online. All updates and details will be available exclusively on the MCC’s official portal www.mcc.nic.in. Qualified students must go through the counselling details carefully to understand the steps involved.

The 15% AIQ counselling will be conducted in two rounds. Central and Deemed Universities will have three rounds: Round 1, Round 2, and a Mop-Up Round. Any issues related to the 15% AIQ, Central Institutions (AFMC, ESI, DU, BHU, AMU), or Deemed Universities counselling should be directed to the MCC. Counselling for Seats Beyond 15% All India Quota:

Candidates aspiring for admission in State-level Medical Colleges, Universities, or Institutions using NEET UG 2025 merit list must follow the counselling procedures issued by the respective State Government and concerned institutions. Counselling for Private Medical Colleges (excluding Deemed Universities) will be managed by the relevant State authorities.

Each State authority will draw a category-wise merit list based on the details filled by the candidate at the time of registration. No modifications to candidate data will be entertained by NTA once the editing window closes. After the result is announced, NTA will not make any corrections in the application.

Candidate category data is collected as per the Central Category List. For seats beyond the 15% AIQ, candidates will register using the State-specific category list, and State authorities will prepare merit lists accordingly. Domicile rules and documentation requirements will be as per the respective State guidelines. NTA has no involvement in this aspect. During counselling, eligibility, document verification, and other self-declared details will be thoroughly checked by the concerned State/College authorities.

Note: Except for AIIMS and JIPMER institutions, all other medical colleges across India will admit students based on NEET 2024 scores. Candidates who qualify the exam should begin preparations for All India and State-level NEET 2024 counselling rounds. 15% government college seats are filled through MCC. Remaining 85% seats fall under the jurisdiction of State counselling bodies. 100% seats in Deemed and Central Universities are handled by MCC. Private/self-financed colleges conduct their counselling through the respective State bodies or committees..
